Step 1 Lead-in
T: Just now, we finished reading the whole ad. After learning this ad, we know that Huaxing Clothes Store is on sale. Who can help recall how many kinds of clothes does Huaxing Clothes Store are on sale?
Step 2 Presentation (post-reading)
Task 1: Role play
Ask Ss to role play. One student act as the boss of the store and the other act as customer. Use the Qs like this:
Q: -How much is/are …?
-It’s/ They are…
Task 2:Discussion
Ask student try to think that “if you are the boss of the store, what clothes do you want to sell on discount and how much are they?” 4 Ss in one group and after that, ask some Ss to share with us.(list the kind of cloth and the price.)
Step 3 Summary and Homework
The teacher asks students to review what kind of cloth does the store sell on discount.
Homework: Write the on-sale ad for your own store like Huaxing Clothes Store.
